Launch of Social Digital Apprenticeships
Last Night (20th May 2013) MK College launched their New Apprenticeship Scheme for Digital Social Media in association with the Digital Youth Academy. The launch event commenced with a welcome from Dr Julie Mills, College Principal then an excellent presentation about the benefits to business for taking one of these apprentices and these benefits include:
- Increased sales and productivity
- Employees benefit from cutting edge learning that can be apllied in the worksplace
- creation of a digital marketing strategyfor your business
- Improved recruitment and retension in your worksofrce
- Cost effective way in which to grow your business
- Government funded training.

The Biztech Business Mentoring Scheme is for owners and senior managers of technology-focused businesses in the Milton Keynes area who are looking to take the next crucial step in growing their company. The scheme will provide one-to-one mentoring, utilising the skills and advice of people who have already experienced the highs and lows of growing a business and are keen to help others enjoy their own success.

Biztech member company Kingston Smith in collaboration with the University of Surrey who conducted the research based on the views of over 1,000 business leaders in the UK and delves into the key triggers for success.The key findings cover a wide range of areas including finance, social media, networking, exporting, access to advice and leadership.
