Milton Keynes Intelligence Observatory

The MKi Observatory is run by the MKi team of Milton Keynes Council. The site is a one-stop-shop for information about the health and future growth of Milton Keynes and the South Midlands. The site is built around a sophisticated Knowledge Management System. Data analysis tools enable users to define their own catchments, and to thematically map and graph results. A fully functional GIS facility provides users access to spatial information.

South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership (SEMLEP)

The South East Midlands partnership brings together businesses, universities and colleges, community groups, social enterprises and local government in Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and Luton, Milton Keynes, Cherwell, Aylesbury Vale and Dacorum. Together these partners are working closely with Government to support inward investment, innovation, economic growth, new enterprise and job creation.

Technology Strategy Board

The Technology Strategy Board is all about driving innovation. Their role is to stimulate technology-enabled innovation in the areas which offer the greatest scope for boosting UK growth and productivity. They promote, support and invest in technology research, development and commercialisation. They spread knowledge, bringing people together to solve problems or make new advances. They advise Government on how to remove barriers to innovation and accelerate the exploitation of new technologies. And they work in areas where there is a clear potential business benefit, helping today's emerging technologies become the growth sectors of tomorrow. _

The FSB is non-profit making and non-party political The Federation of Small Businesses is the UK's largest campaigning pressure group promoting and protecting the interests of the self-employed and owners of small firms.
