Blockchain disruption in transport - event in Milton Keynes

The Milton Keynes-based Transport Systems Catapult and the University of Sheffield are currently undertaking a collaborative initiative to explore the applications and opportunities for Blockchain technology in the transport Industry.

As part of this project they will be holding an exciting event to provide the transport community with insight in this rapidly emerging area. At this free event in Milton Keynes on Thursday, February 22 attendees will learn about and discuss:

  • What is Blockchain?
  • What does it mean for transport?
  • Current transport Blockchain project case studies
  • What does the future hold?

Implications and opportunities of Blockchain will be explored in areas such as Data Sharing, Mobility as a Service, Connected and Autonomous Transport, Freight and Logistics and Digital Engineering and personalised transport provision.
